Receiving Canal+ by satellite in the Alpes-Maritimes (06)
Canal+ is mostly watched today through an internet box or the myCanal app, but that's not the only option: the bouquet is still broadcast by satellite on Astra 19.2° East, the same satellite used for free DTT (TNTSAT). It's an ideal solution for a second home, a villa in a white zone with no fibre or decent ADSL, a mobile home, or a house in the countryside where a box simply isn't an option.

How it works technically
The same satellite as free DTT
Canal+ is broadcast on Astra 19.2° East, just like TNTSAT. If you already have a dish correctly aimed to receive free DTT, you generally don't need to install a second one: only the decoder (and its Canal+ access card) changes.
Access card and decoder
Unlike TNTSAT (free, no subscription), access to Canal+ channels requires a subscription and an access card linked to your decoder. We handle the hardware installation; the subscription itself is taken out directly with Canal+.
Combining with free DTT channels
On the same dish and the same compatible decoder, you can generally receive both the free DTT channels (TNTSAT) and your subscribed Canal+ channels, with no extra equipment.

- Is the subscription included in your service? No, we install and tune your reception equipment; the Canal+ subscription is taken out separately, directly with Canal+.
- What about bad weather? A properly fitted 80 cm dish significantly limits disruption, even in strong mistral winds or heavy rain.
